本书的作者Annie Kuble是Child’s Play的艺术总监，多年来，一直在做儿童插画，是2002年宝森宝儿童图书奖的获得者。
打开绘本，映入眼睑的是鲜艳的色彩和活泼的人物造型，一辆有多彩颜色的巴士，旁边伴随着鸽子、蝴蝶、蜗牛和青蛙，还有各式各样的乘客，画面热闹又和谐。
2. 如何进行亲子阅读
指图+肢体表达
该绘本适合用指图与结合书中的机关进行亲子阅读,以下方式可以供家长们参考:
翻开第一页，指着图中的车轮，告诉孩子这是 wheels，指着图中的巴士告诉孩子，the wheels on the bus。 Round and round可以利用书上的机关，转动车轮让孩子明白。
翻开第一页，指着图中的雨刮，告诉孩子这是 wipers，the wipers on the bus。 Swish，Swish可以利用书上的机关，并做出雨刮摆动的动作让孩子明白。
以此类推，对于horn,driver,parents,baby,people,children这些词，家长通过指图，再加上书中的“机关”加以表达即可。
当听到音频中Beep，Swish这些拟声词时，家长还可以边做出相应的动作，比如听到Beep，就是按喇叭，增强阅读的互动性。

小贴士：
一起阅读绘本时，听到声音就指着对应的图，比如听到wheels时，指着图中的车轮，round and round的话，家长可以做出车轱辘转动的动作，也可以引导宝贝转动书中的“机关”。
